AMYA AGRO PLUS Company Limited(AAPL) was resgistered in Ghana on 24th February 2016, and Burkina Faso in 2019.

In Ghana, the company has been operating in Wenchi(Brong-Ahafo Region) since its inception and recently expanded its processing facilities in Kintampo, in the same region.

In Burkina Faso, the company has established a warehouse in Ouagadougu and field activities in Leo.

AMYA is managed by a well-qualified team with a Board of Directors including Dr. Mamadou Ouattara(Agronomist), Dr. Michel Sedogo (Soil Fertility Specialist), Dr. Edward Yeboah (Specialist in soil Biology), Mr. Abdou Kolambique(Agricultural Economist).

Dr. Andre Bationo, the CEO of the company is a world-renowned scientist. He has more than 34years’ working experience in soil chemistry and fertility and has about 400 professional publications in his area of expertise.

He has also led many large agricultural research project and received many awards including the African Food Prize, The UNESCO prize for outstanding research in life science and the Kwame Nkruma continental award from the African Head of States in recognition for its outstanding research in science and technology.
